The course will help you to attain "role model" status and show you how to supervise activities for certified divers and students as well as provide valuable support to PADI Instructors. Concentrating on developing teaching skills, this course helps you to become a dive educator and gives you the grounding and support to help you move towards Instructor status. You will learn how to construct effective teaching presentations and how to independently conduct certain PADI programmes. Minimum Age 18.next available course dates
Open Water Scuba Instructor back to top
Concentrating on polishing the teaching skills, that you learnt on the Assistant Instrcutor course, this course leads you to your Instructor Examination and a full or part time career in dive education. You will further develop your teaching style, learn how to promote and market your programmes and complete a number of presentations and workshops to help you become an outstanding dive educator. Upon completion of this course and your Instructor Examination you will be qualified to independently conduct PADI programmes, upto and including Divemaster. Minimum Age 18.next available dates
Speciality Instructor back to top
Speciality Instructor courses exist for each of the specialities in the PADI system of diver education. By completing a Speciality Instructor course you will be entitled to teach the speciality and will receive invaluable hints and tips on structuring and marketing your course. Master Scuba Diver Trainer prep back to top
During this course you will complete 5 Speciality Instructor courses. Not only will you become a more rounded Instructor but you will also be eligible to apply for the Master Scuba Diver Trainer rating, possibly to most sought after rating in the dive industry. EFR and CFC Instructor back to top
Concentrating on developing your EFR and CFC teaching skills you will learn how to independently conduct these programmes. Minimum Age 18.next available course dates
IDC Staff Instructor back to top
As a Master Scuba Diver Trainer you will develop your coaching and feedback skills, by auditing an IDC programme. After certification you will be able to independently teach the Assistant Instructor programme and to assist with the OWSI programme or a complete IDC (under the direction of a Course Director). Minimum Age 18.
Courses run in conjunction with the Assistant Instructor and Open Water Scuba Instructor courses. You must audit a full IDC but you may audit parts of more than one course to achieve this requirement.

To qualify to become a PADI Master Instructor you must have been a PADI instructor for 2 years, be an IDC Staff instructor and EFR Instructor, have certified 150 divers (requirements exist for the courses that you must have taught and the number student divers that you certify at each certification level), have taught 10 EFR students and have participated in 3 PADI Instructor Development Seminars. Specific details of these requirements can be found in your PADI instructor manual.
