Day Boats

Discover the St Abbs Marine Reserve

Some of the UK’s best diving is right at our doorstep, at the St Abbs & Eyemouth Marine Reserve. Marine life is thriving in the area and it’s one of the few places where you can see wolf fish as shallow as 15 metres. Also regularly seen are different types of nudibranchs, wrasse and anemones. You will dive through kelp forests and see walls covered in soft coral, too.

If you’ve just completed your PADI Open Water course, this is a fantastic place to gain further experience, although more experienced divers will find the diving just as exciting.

Each dive day at St Abbs consists of two boat dives, either at 9am and 1pm or at 11am and 3pm. In between, we return to the harbour which has a great cafe and toilet/shower facilities.

Whilst we always provide an instructor to lead the trip, if you would like to be buddied with a Divemaster or an Instructor, there is an additional charge of £10 per person per day to allow us to put as many staff on the boat as needed.

Discover Farne Islands

New for 2017 we are planning some visits to the Farne Islands. The Farne Islands are a bit further down the east coast just of Northumberland. There are between 15 and 20 islands depending on the state of the tide. The Farne Islands are a popular scuba diving location, with a variety of sites suitable for all levels of diver. The islands appeal to divers for the seals and wrecks. The grey seal colony at the Farnes numbers about 5,000. They are curious and will often look in on divers in the water and are impressive to watch underwater.
